My experience in Nice started with Hostel Smith and honestly I had the best time ever. There, I got to know tons of amazing and interesting people, as well as many travellers, each one with its story. Frank and Helen are lovely and friendly, and Im so glad they were one of the first people i met in France. As for the hostel, again, the atmosphere there is amazing. It is located close to the beach and pretty much everything. The Old Town itself feels like another place apart from Nice and it feels great. It has everything one needs and u r certain to make wonderful memories.

Friendly staff and great location right in the old town of Nice. Some of the rooms are in different buildings about 5 min walk from the main reception, but they have a private kitchenette, bathroom and washing machine, the price being only for a standard double room, so really cheap. When we arrived there was some confusion with our room so it was not ready and cleaned, but the staff was very helpful in sorting this out quickly.

Staying at the Hostel Smith was the best think which could happened to us. It is in the middle of the old town, bars and restaurants around and only 3 minutes walk to the beach. The staff is so friendly as well as the people you meet. We had such a great time there- I will never forget. I just can recommend this hostel!

Having stayed in several hostels and hotels in Nice I can honestly say Hostel Smith is definitly the best!! Great location, everything you want is within a 5min walk including the beach, castle and waterfall, bars and restaurants, art galleries, supermarket, tram stop, shops and market, EVERYTHING! the staff are amazing and friendly and will help in any way they can to make your stay the best. The dorms and hostel kitchen encourage you to mix with other travellers and I met some amazing people here from all over the world and had unforgettably good times and giggles! I would recommend this hostel to all young funloving people - you won't regret it!

My wife and I stayed at Hostel Smith for a week and a half and were extremely pleased with our experience. The location is superb, right in the heart of Old Town Nice, and there's so much to see and do. The staff was great, and helped us get our bearings in the city. We stayed in the two person room, and would absolutely recommend Hostel Smith as a no-brainer place to stay if you're visiting Nice.

I came alone to Nice and it was so good for me to stay at Hostel Smith because there are so many friendly and open-minded people from everywhere (including the staff), it's so easy to make friends there! As there are pubs and bars downstairs, it's a bit noisy at night on the weekends, but it's also very near to all the places you should see in Nice.
